The Last Man Standing Challenge consisted of drinking good wine, partying hard & eating rich foods and I raised £20k. Next year I've set myself a new challenge which is taking me completely out of my comfort zone by drinking water instead of wine, eating bananas instead of rich food and going to the gym. My aim is to lose 4 stone to allow me to walk The Great Wall of China.
My goal? To raise £20k for HIT; I've received my first pledge of £1k by Chef Andrew Fairlie. Anything raised over £20k will be donated to the Hospice.
Weighing in at 19st 7lbs, my personal trainer has the task of helping me lose weight & get fit!
Believe me this is a begging letter as I need money upfront to encourage me out of bed before 6am every morning to head to the gym & motivate me to lose weight, eat healthy, drink water & raise money for the charities.
All donations will be greatly appreciated from £5 to £5000! Maybe the companies I spend lots of money with might donate closer to the £5000.
2018 is the Year of Young People and the Hospitality Industry Trust is planning to HIT the Wall for a very special project.
On the 22nd of May 2017 an intrepid group of explorers will set off to conquer the Great Wall of China. Every penny raised will go towards offering up to 218 emerging talent scholarships to the next generation of our fantastic industry!
