Braehead Hosts Italian Chef Diego Rossi

On Monday 10th February we were delighted to host Italian Chef Diego Rossi who prepared a four course Italian banquet for invited guests of SDI (Scottish Development International).

The aim of the evening was to promote the relationship between Scotland and Italy which saw a team from Braehead Foods head to Italy the previous week to take part in a supplier conference for new export clients, Longino & Cardenal.

Diego Rossi, Head Chef of Trippa in Milan prepared his menu using the finest quality Scottish game combined with traditional Italian flavours.

Guests including Gary Maclean and journalists from Scotland and Italy were treated to a range of cocktails using Capovilla and Dream Whisky spirits from Italy as well as beers and spirits from across Scotland from Six Degrees North, Bellfield Brewery, The Shetland Distillery, Beerfellas and the Orkney Distillery.
