FWP Matthews Ltd is a family flour mill run by Paul and Graham Matthews, based in the heart of the Cotswolds. All flours are milled with great care by experienced millers, some of whom have been with the company for over 30 years.

Matthews guarantee the consistent high quality by only buying the best wheat from local farms which is then blended with wheat from the rest of the world. In addition to the range of Cotswold flours also on offer is a wide range of premium French flours.

Lilliput Capers - Available in either 1.5kg tubs or 400g glass kilner jar, these peppercorn size capers are a classy and highly versatile ingredient. Not just a constituent of fish sauces, they can be a piquant addition to sauce vierge, salads or salsas.

Cornichons - A handful of these small crisp gherkins added to a salad, together maybe with a scattering of lardons, a chilled glass of bone dry Chablis, a cool blonde with Jackie-O sunglasses perched on her head, an ancient chrome table pock-marked with a thousand cigarette burns (optional) and you've pretty much got the true Bistro experience on a plate.
